Hello everyone, sorry for not being around, life gets in the way sometimes.

Chocolate Covered World has some exciting news, we're selling our Styrofoam lolly pop holders now! If you order cake pops and or lolly pops we will include the holder for a discounted rate, but if you just want a holder, you'll be able to purchase it!

My son's Rock Star themed 2nd Birthday!

My son's birthday was last weekend. I decided last year that I wanted a rockstar theme! My husband plays the drums and has been in rock bands since he was 15. Gianluca, my son, has his daddy's drumming skills! I made the invitations myself and asked everyone to come to Gianluca's Birthday Gig. I also mentioned to call Gianluca's manage to get on the VIP list. As you approached my house you noticed a red carpet and a rather tall man standing outside my door with a list. The tall man was my brother in law and he asked everyone for ID as they walked through the door and checked their name off the list. He enjoyed the role and was kidding around with everyone. I went simple with the food, since its only a kid's bday party. I had a Gourmet Hotdog and Burger bar with all the toppings. 

For the dessert, my favorite part, I made black and red star lolly pops with an edible silver dusting over them, I also made black and red chocolate cake pops! I made a styrofoam platter that I painted "YOU ROCK" on, so as the guests took a cake pop they slowly revealed the saying. My final project was a guitar shaped cake.  My mom made red velvet whoopie pies, rocky road chocolate and layered jello. My favorite part was the DELICIOUS vanilla cupcakes that we got from Live.Love.Cupcakes. Megan is a great friend of mine and we teamed up to make my son's cupcakes. She made Vanilla cupcakes with Vanilla butter cream in silver wrappers. I made the chocolate star for the top.

Oscar the grouch and a Bumble Bee!

I am having A LOT of fun making these Cake pops!! My neighbors are going to love me because there is no way we could eat them all so I'll be handing them out later today! lol

So I decided to attempt making cake pops. A friend of mine is having a Sesame Street themed first birthday for her little boy in August. Cake pops are every where and thought to myself "I can do that" so here is my first attempt EVER with cake pops and decided to get a little fancy (I know, very brave move!)

Not only are they adorable, but they are DELICIOUS TOO!

Tis' the season for Communions, Confirmations and Christenings too!!

A friend of mine made a request for something special for her beautiful little girl's Christening... Here are chocolate Cross Lollypops with a gold shimmer dusting that looks GORGEOUS in person and can hardly be seen in the picture..... For my  god son's baptism a few years back I did these in Blue and White and I also put the gold shimmer dusting. I put them in really pretty basket and added chocolate flowers here and there.... Unfortunately I didnt take any pictures but here are the crosses I just made and I just put them in the flower pot so you can an idea....

I tried to get a picture of the shimmer... you can kinda see it here...

One more Chocolate Flower Bouquet

Here is another flower bouquet, but with a different type of flower. I can also do the lollypops in any color. IN this bouquet you'll get 5 lollypops and is $6.50.

This is good for Mother's day or even Easter. We give the kids baskets filled with toys and candy.. but I usually give the women a plant, this year they'll be getting this!! Its the best of both worlds!

They will all be individually wrapped.
